After an exciting year for the Mizusawa High School karuta club, a new semester begins as two new members join the group. More passionate than ever for the ancient card game, Chihaya sets ambitious goals for herself and for her friends.
Continuation of the first series. Chihaya and her friends have entered their second year of high school, and they are anxious to recruit new first year members for the karuta club and to strengthen their team. However, the new members don't seem to share Chihaya's passion for karuta, and a potential rival for Taichi's affections appears.

The "paranormal science" story follows nine idiosyncratic individuals, linked by the "Choujou Kagaku Kirikiri Basara" occult summary blog run by 17-year-old second-year high school student Gamon Yuuta. Little incongruities that occur around these nine eventually lead to a larger, unimaginable event that may alter what is considered common sense in this world.

I'm currently watching The Morose Mononokean.

Exorcism is the art of sending youkai who have somehow wandered into the living world back into the underworld, where they belong.

One day Ashiya Hanae, a high school student who has been haunted by a youkai, happens to find the contact information of an exorcist called the Mononokean and pays him a visit. The exorcist he meets is a morose-looking young man, Abeno Haruitsuki, and for various reasons Ashiya ends up working for the Mononokean... And so the story of the exorcist duo Ashiya and Abeno, and the yokai they meet in their adventures, begins.

I'm currently watching Blood Blockade Battlefront & Beyond.

Blood Blockade Battlefront centers around the crime fighting organization "Libra" and their battles in Hellsalem's Lot, formerly known as New York City. Hellsalem's Lot was created when a portal to the "Beyond" opened, becoming a paranormal melting pot of monsters, magic and the everyday mundane life, and it is up to Libra to clear the streets of trouble and prevent the horrors of this city from spreading to the outside world.

I'm currently watching K-On! Season 2.

It is the final year of high school for Hirasawa Yui (guitar), Tainaka Ritsu (drums), Akiyama Mio (bass), and Kotobuki Tsumugi (keyboard); the founding members of the Light Music Club. Together with their junior member Nakano Azusa (guitar), they spend their days after school in the music room enjoying tea and sweets, and practising music. Amidst band practice, preparations for the new student orientation performance, scouting for new members, and student responsibilities they still have time for After School Tea Time.

I'm currently watching K-On!

This is the first year of high school for the four girls, looking for that very special club.

The healthy and energetic Tainaka Ritsu (club president, drums) decides to join the school's Light Music Club, only to find out that the club is about to be closed — due to the lack of members. Without much ado she drags along her childhood friend, the shy, mature, and sensitive Akiyama Mio (bass). That leaves only two more members, required to keep club from closing. Luckily the gentle, calm, warm, and cute Kotobuki Tsumugi (keyboard) stumbles into the club, only to be "convinced" by the pleading Ritsu to stay. The last member, the easily distracted klutz Hirasawa Yui, can only play castanets, even though the club needs someone on the guitar, but she is "bribed" — with cake — to stay anyway.

Will Yui be able to learn to play the guitar — the special one she just bought and loves so much — before the four girls graduate?

I'm currently watching Coyote Ragtime Show.

Mister is a coyote or space faring outlaw who has been sitting in prison for a year for a traffic offence. Ten days from release, he breaks out with the help of his old partners Bishop and Katana. He then seeks out Franca who has been left in his care by her dead father and takes her on a journey to find her father's treasure. On their heels are the federal investigators Angelica and Chelsea as well as the assassins of the Criminal Guild, Madame Marciano's Twelve Sisters.

I'm currently watching Taboo Tattoo.

The story follows Justice Akazuka a.k.a. Seigi, a young man who is good at martial arts. One day, Seigi rescues a homeless old man from some thugs, and the man gives him an object that imprints a tattoo on his palm. However, it is not an ordinary tattoo, but a special weapon that gives Seigi supernatural powers such as warping space-time. Seigi then meets a female American agent named Izzie, whose duty is to recover the tattoos. He decides to help her and gets wrapped up in a cross-national conspiracy.

I'm currently watching: Myriad Colors Phantom World.

As the result of a viral outbreak, that occurred over a decade ago, the way the human brain works is irrevocably altered in such a way that beings, thought to be figments of imagination, like ghosts or monsters, become real... now collectively known as Phantoms. Since then children have been born with special abilities. Most of these apparitions at worst are a nuisance, but some of them can turn out to be quite troublesome...

Ichijou Haruhiko is a widely-read first-year high school student at Hosea Academy, with the special ability to summon and seal away Phantoms by drawing them; always accompanied by the carefree, helpful Phantom Ruru. While his energetic upperclassman, Kawakami Mai, fights Phantoms with the ability Spirit of Five Elements. The newest member of their club, the glutton Izumi Reina, uses her Phantom Eater ability to seal away Phantoms. There is another Phantom-hunting club member in the not very highly regarded Team E at the academy: the brave yet stoic Minase Koito, who, at least initially, prefers to fight Phantoms by herself.

Together they take on contracts their teacher, Himeno Arisu, gives them, dealing with all manners of troublesome Phantoms. In doing so, they experience the ups and downs of resolving issues with paranormal life, before an incident leads them to find out the truth about this world.

I'm currently watching: Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans.

300 years after a great conflict between Earth and Mars known as the "Calamity War," a woman named Cordelia sets out on a journey to Earth to speak for the independence of the Martian city of Chryse, which is under the control of the Earth government. Escorting her are members of the private security company CGS, Mikazuki Augus and Orga Itsuka. When a group named Gjallarhorn attacks CGS and Cordelia, Orga sees this as a chance to rebel against CGS and launch a coup. Mikazuki and Orga are thrust into a new conflict. To fend off Gjallarhorn, Mikazuki rides an old mobile suit from the Calamity War, powered by a nuclear reactor, the Gundam Barbatos.

In a neo-futuristic age, Tokyo has turned into the world's largest "jungle-polis" that absorbs carbon dioxide, by-product of runaway global warming. The tower city called Atlas houses the rich and privileged, and is the object of yearning of all those who are not allowed to enter, struggling in the squalor of the surrounding jungle. But Atlas, the towering achievement of human ingenuity, was founded on dark ancient secrets which cause a sudden whirl of events. Festooned by colourful characters such as a riotous teenage girl, a child genius, a juvenile princess, a drag queen, a female doctor, an army major, and an elderly gentleman and lady, Shangri-La's hard-core world view plays out as an action saga.

Houtarou is not assertive about getting involved with anything, but was ordered by his older sister, Tomoe, to join the Classic Literature Club. In the club, he gets close to the truth about an incident, involving a female member's uncle, that happened 45 years ago. The energy-saving boy is joined by the inquisitive girl Chitanda Eru in this mystery...

I'm currently watching Chihayafuru.

6th-year grade-schooler Ayase Chihaya's dream is for her sister to be Japan's top model. However, transfer student Wataya Arata admonishes her that a dream must be about one's own self. Thus, she takes up karuta, a Japanese card game, competitively. Together with Arata and Mashima Taichi, Chihaya's childhood friend, they have great fun playing each other, but separate after graduation.

4 years later, Chihaya returns to town. Although Arata no longer plays the game, she believes that they will eventually reunite as long as she continues karuta. Together with Taichi, she establishes the Mizusawa High-school Karuta Club.

Now Watching: Texhnolyze

I'm currently watching Texhnolyze.

In the vibrant yet dilapidated underground city of Lux, the denizens have come to call it "The City" and treat it as a sentient force.

Three factions vie for control of the city: the Organo, a strictly professional conglomerate with ties to the criminal underworld in the prosthetics business (Texhnolyze); the Union, a fanatical populist group interfering with Organo's affairs; and Racan, a marauding group of Texhnolyzed youths.

Trying to get by on a daily basis are: Ichise, a stoic prize fighter who loses a leg and an arm to satisfy an enraged promoter; Oonishi Keigo, a young but level-headed executive of the Organo who has many enemies; and Ran, a little girl who has a very important gift that affects the entire city. As they struggle to accept the challenges that they are dealt, they bear witness to major events that determine whether the city continues to exist.

In 1924 in a small, fictional French-speaking European country of Saubure, Kujou Kazuya, the third son of a Japanese Imperial soldier, is a transfer student to St. Marguerite Academy, where urban legends and horror stories are all the rage. There he meets Victorique de Blois, a mysterious yet beautiful and brilliant girl who never comes to class and spends her days reading the entire content of the library or solving mysteries that even detectives cannot solve.

I'm currently watching JoJo's Bizarre Adventure.

An epic horror-action-adventure! Spanning the generations of the Joestar family, each arc focuses on a certain member of the family and his/her battles with vampires, super vampires, and other Stand users.

Phantom Blood stars Jonathan Joestar and the ambitious Dio Brando. It shows how the stone mask was found and how Dio first obtained and utilized his powers. Once Jonathan and Robert E. O. Speedwagon realize Dio's intentions, they must team up with Will A. Zeppeli and learn Ripple (Hamon) to stop Dio.

I'm currently watching Kokoro Connect.

The story involves five high school students, Taichi, Iori, Himeko, Yoshifumi and Yui, who are all members of the Cultural Research Club. One day, they begin experiencing a phenomenon in which they randomly swap bodies amongst themselves. As these five friends face many different phenomena at the whims of a mysterious being known as Heartseed, their friendship is put to the ultimate test.

In the year 2012, Tokyo is suddenly attacked by a mysterious organization called MU.
        At that time Kamina Ayato is just a regular high school student. His father passed away when he was young, and his mother works for the government. Ayato meets a mysterious woman named Mishima Reika and discovers the existence of the angel-winged giant robot, RahXephon. Surprisingly RahXephon can synchronize with Ayato. So could he be the key to save Japan?
